On Tuesday we stopped in before a flight to try this restaurant out for the first time and honestly I'm surprised the stars are so low, the place is nice and our server Laurie was both personable and sweet! Our food came out quickly, as well as the bill so I could prepay to make it to our flight and box up what we couldn't finish! My toddler had the Grilled Cheesy from their Kid's Menu which came with French Fries and a Milk our server was kind enough to go next door and fill her sippy cup up with since the restaurant didn't have any! She enjoyed her meal and the portion was as big as an adult sized portion! I ordered the Power Salad with Chicken and all I can say is WOW in all caps, because this salad was not only large, but amazing, each flavor burst on my tongue, the chicken was cooked just right and the veggies were both fresh and plentiful, pairing well with the herb vinaigrette dressing it was sauced in!!
I will definitely be recommending this restaurant to my friends and family and if I'm ever in Jacksonville airport again, I'll be returning for another visit! Especially since the restaurant focuses on health and nutrition, so they have a lot of healthy options available on their vast menu! -

When you are at the Jax Airport and want a beer but can't get a seat at Chili's, this is your only other option.
Loud retro music, terrible service, and the food is even worse... but they do have cold beer I'll give them that. Nothing appetizing at all on the menu, I wanted a BLT with an egg but was told that was breakfast only. I was instructed to get a turkey BLT if thats what I was stuck on, so I asked "How about a plain BLT?" Then I was told "No it only comes with turkey." I was suddenly transported back to that diner where Jack Nicholson was trying to order some whole wheat toast, but I didn't make a scene, or a mess, I just swallowed deeply and ordered the Clubhouse Chips, that clearly was a mistake.
First of all the chips were stale and I don't know how many bottles of Frank's they dumped on my plate but it was swimming in hot sauce. The whole mess was terrible, and I pushed it away after choking down 3 bites. My server noticed my plight and offered to take that off the bill which I kindly accepted. If you think you might get stuck down here at the end of Concourse C bring earplugs and plenty of patience. -

Well as for a Airport restaurant, I was very shocked how friendly and fast service was. I sat in the Bar part of the place in nice small table. I had ordered a Maker's Mark on the rocks and very wonderful BLTA (Bacon, Lett, Tom and Avocado) sandwich.
The Bartender was very friendly and asked me how long my overlay was to ensure I made my next plane on time.
I plan to visit again in Oct when we have 3 hour overlay in Charlotte airport on our way to Paris.
I sure hope the same staff will be there since I enjoyed the food and service so much. -

I travel a ton and have a drink at the bar while I wait occasionally over the last 25+ years. Wow. What a bunch of nasty humans they have working here. I know the labor market is tight but seriously this is what we have come to?

I had dinner here and I can see why other reviewers were underwhelmed. I got the blue cheese burger and opted for salad vs fries. The salad was way too big for the plate and cutting it only put a lot of it on the table. Less would've been more because so much was wasted. The salad itself was basic with only cheese. The sandwich was really disappointing. I ordered it medium because you just never know at an airport, at least I'm a little nervous sometimes. The medium steak was really chewy and had to be cut, even though it was a sandwich, which was not served on an "artisan bun" at all. It really was a basic hamburger-type bun. The blue cheese was in a runny dressing served on the side, not actual chunks on the sandwich like I was hoping. Maybe other items are better options but I wasn't impressed with what I ordered and would've been better off grabbing something to go elsewhere.
